The countdown to Munich Mash is on! In only two weeks – from June 23rd to 25th – Munich’s Olympic Park will welcome the world’s top action sports stars and a huge number of fans for the fourth edition of Munich Mash. Next to Street League Skateboarding Nike SB World Tour and the BMX Spine ramp contest, wakeboarding will be on spotlight with the wakebord rail & air contest.

Preparations for the event are in full swing! And once again, Sesitec is part of this top-level event as an official supplier. Two System 2.0 HD's and a adjustable Merlo-Solution enable this spectacular contest, right at the „Olympiasee“. Our innovative and individual event-solution gives the riders the opportunity to go big. It is also perfect for all the spectators, since they can watch the contest from all around the lake. Entrance will be for free!

Last years winner was Sesitec team rider, Dominik Hernler (AT). „I am extremely happy. Today was just perfekt. Also the atmosphere at the Olympiasee was totally cool“, he said. This year, Dominik and two other Sesitec ambassadors, Nico von Lerchenfeld and Felix Georgii, will make a run at Munich Mash 2017 and compete for team Sesitec. We are looking forward to an unparalleled event and say good luck to our team!

We are proud to welcome Jean François „Jeff“ Aubry to the Sesitec staff team. He will be working as the new French sales representative, consultant and main contact person for all new as well as existing clients. Jeff lives in Nantes, France and is widely recognized as the former manager of TSN 44 and by his exceptional dedication to the wake sports.
“Jeff knows the French market like no other. We are very pleased to welcome him to our team and to work closely together on all upcoming projects“, says Patrick Viererbe, Global Sales Director at Sesitec. „His attempts on quality and team-orientation perfectly match our values. He really lives the sports.“
Jeff will focus 100 percent on the French market, will share his expertise with all customers and bring forward his ideas to help Sesitec progress. “My dedication to the sports goes way back. PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic (October 8, 2016) – The best wakeboard athletes in the world hit the water of the 2016 Malibu Punta Cana Pro. Beautiful blue-sunny skies and the tropical setting of the Caribbean greeted competitors and spectators to a fun-filled weekend of incredible performances. At the conclusion of boat qualifying, the action shifted to Sesitec's brand new RAD Wakepark for the remaining qualifying heats, followed by Traditional and Features Only finals. The event serves as the final stop of the Malibu Evolution Pro Series and Wakeboard World Series (WBWS), including second stop of the Wakepark World Series (WPWS).

Semifinal qualifying in the Traditional division provided a preview of the battles that were shaping up for the finals, ultimately watching Fooshee win Heat 1 and Oka top the charts in Heat 2. The five-time World Champion of Fooshee refused to be denied and bounced back for a brilliant victory with an 87.25. Oka’s 84.25 and Cohen’s 75.25 rounded out the podium in second and third, respectively.

In the wakepark Features Only division, Oka carried the momentum that he left off with at the opening WPWS event in Orlando and took home the Heat 1 semifinals win, while Cody Hesse led Heat 2. When the final showdown approached, Oka put on his game face and rode exceptional by scoring a 97.15 for the overall win. Yonel Cohen’s 76.45 placed him in second, edging out Fooshee’s 70.60 in third.
